President Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan declares education as one of the UAE's top priorities as the nation focuses on educating both men and women in institutions of higher learning. Literacy rates have continued to skyrocket since the implementation of an education reform in 1975. Since this time English has been integrated into more schools to help students be able to succeed in the global marketplace.
